Much like Charlie’s Angels, the Staple Sisters came together over a shared love of soft furnishings, power tools, big hair and hammering things. Each Staple Sister is an experienced upholsterer, who has been catering to the whims and fancies of Bristol’s domestic gods and goddesses, fulfilling commissions and selling renovated furniture across the UK and abroad.

Sadie runs Tickety-Boo Upholstery, Charlotte trades under her own name, Charlotte Mooney, and Gemma has her fingers in so many crafty pies it’s a wonder she has any fingers left for stapling.

We trained together and found our talents and tastes overlapped enough to make working together on larger commercial work a no-brainer. That and our shared love of deep buttoning, tip-top design and Prosecco.
Trading as the Staple Sisters since early 2014, we have been tweaking and primping some of Bristol’s finest eateries since 2012, and as individuals, we have been renovating and plumping domestic furniture since 2010.
